Starr is a Trini-Canadian transplant, who fell in love with the magickal arts at a tender age. Began practicing as a Witch in the late seventies, became an independent scholar, with interests including many forms of divination, WitchCraft in all its many facets – spell-casting, amulets, traditional and spiritual healing, Mysteries of Egypt, British Isles, Celtic, Faery, Green Magicks, magickal oils, perfumes, incense, mythology, folklore, Obeah and the magicks of the Angels. She completed her training under the wise teachings of Laurie Cabot in 1994. Starr is the Founder and Elder of the NYC Wiccan Family Temple, the first Witch Temple ordaining its Priest/Priestesses to be licensed State Reverends. She has been organizing and serving the New York City Pagan Community since 1994, sharing with others her many passions of the Craft providing lectures, workshops, public rituals, celebrations, and festivals… She has now formed and runs the Annual WitchsFest USA – A Pagan St. Faire and the Witches Masquerade Ball in New York City for the last 14 years. She has lectured at Universities and Colleges – Ramapo College of New Jersey, on WitchCraft and is the Founder and creatress of the degreed witchcraft programs at WFT Academy Of Pagan Studies. She is a Reverend, High Priestess, Certified Adult & Youth mental health Counselor, Teacher of Tarot, WitchCraft studies, Theology and much, much more. A truly Intuitive Witch, Tarot Advisor and Candle Therapist with over 25years experience. Starr currently lives in New York City with her son Darien and travels the country giving lectures and teaching workshops related to the Craft, and its many practices. She is the creatress of the Journey To the Realm of the Underworld Graveyard Mysteries Kits individually designed to be a therapeutically magickal experience for each person. Along with her business partner in crime Bronwyn, she is the co-proprietress of CharmedByStarr.com – an online store specializing in handcrafted, hand-designed items for discerning Witches who are ever-evolving.
The story behind Starr’s Wicked Hot Sauce: “It started off because I truly did not find any hot sauces out there that met with my taste approval. They were mostly not enough heat and certainly not taste.
So I started hunting down, fresh hot peppers available in NYC. I found Scotch Bonnet fresh peppers, and started making my sauces from that. I have a tendency to prefer things fresh, hot as I can possibly tolerate it or at least what’s available so all ingredients are fresh and natural. Made to my taste with fresh peppers, lemons and sea salt, Scotch Bonnet Peppers and sometimes will be producing a mix of Scotch Bonnet & Ghost Peppers. Magically, any use you can think of it can be used for. But suggested: Protection, Wardings, Keep Away, Warnings, and yes it can take you to the Dark Side when you have to do what you must.”
